+ มองง่ายๆ ก็พอจะดูออกแล้วครับว่ารูปนี้ติดแดง -_-" เอาฮีสโตแกรมมาให้ดูเลยดีกว่า

+ ฮีสโตแกรมบอกอะไรเราได้มั่ง ? ปกติผมถ่ายภาพ (แลนด์สเคป) ผมจะดูฮีสโตแกรมตลอด ว่ามันมืดไป หรือ สว่างไป มีส่วนที่ติดไฮไลท์และส่วนมืด (ชาโดว์) มากน้อยขนาดใหน สำคัญมากครับ สำหรับการถ่ายภาพ แต่!!! ต้องเข้าใจกล้องที่เราใช้อยู่ด้วยนะครับ ว่ากล้องเรามีไดนามิคเรนจ์ (ผมเรียกง่ายๆ ว่าดึงไฟล์ได้มากแค่ใหนครับ ฮ่าๆ) มากน้อยแค่ใหน กล้องแต่ละตัวไม่เหมือนกันครับ ลองศึกษาจากวีดีโอนี้ก็ได้ครับ

+ จากฮีสโตแกรมในภาพนี้ ก็พอจะเห็นได้ว่า ภาพไปทางมืด (กราฟไปทางซ้ายของภาพ) ซะหมดครับ และก็มีสีแดงที่ติดไฮไลท์มากสุด ส่วนอีก 2 สี ติดไฮไลท์นิดหน่อย เอาฮีสโตแกรมสีแดงไปดูภาพใหญ่ๆ เลยดีกว่าครับ ^ ^

+ สองภาพบนนี้บอกให้เห็นว่าส่วนใหนและสีอะไรของภาพที่ติดไฮไลท์และชาโดว์บ้าง เพื่อจะทำให้เราทำงานได้ง่ายขึ้นเวลาที่เราโพรเสสภาพ ครับ ^__^
+ สรุปอีกทีว่าฮีสโตแกรมของภาพนี้ บอกเราว่าภาพนี้อยู่ในโทนมืด (กราฟเทไปทางซ้าย-ถ่ายตอนทไวไลท์) ติดแดงและเหลืองนิดหน่อย ไฮไลท์อยู่ทีสีเหลืองเยอะมาก (แดง ผสม เขียว = เหลือง) และสีแดงติดชาโดว์เยอะสุด (ต้องขุด) แล้วเอาไปใช้ทำอะไรได้อ่ะ ? เดี๋ยวเอาไว้มาคุยเรื่องฮิสโตแกรมอีกทีครับ ต้องแยกไปอีกหัวข้อนึงเลยครับ มันเยอะ T__T"
+ ผ่านเรื่องการดูกราฟฮิสโตแกรมและจบไปแบบมั่วๆ (เดี๋ยวมาบอกตอนอื่น ^ ^) หลังจากนั้นผมก็เริ่มทำการโพรเสสภาพ โดยเลือกไปที่ Auto Levels ครับ เป็นเครื่องมือที่ผมจะเลือกเป็นตัวแรกเสมอๆนอกจาก Curve แต่เครื่องมือตัวนี้เนี่ยมันออกแนวแบบว่ากวนๆ อ่ะครับ ถ้าภาพใหนเครื่องมือตัวนี้มันชอบ มันก็จะทำให้ภาพดูดีขึ้นแบบไม่ต้องทำอะไรมาก กดจึ๊กเดียว ภาพที่ออกมาก็เปลี่ยนไปในทางที่ถูกต้องมากขึ้น ดูดีเลยแหละ แต่ถ้าภาพใหนที่ไม่ถูกใจมันกดไปรอบเดียวก็จะเห็นแล้วว่า แมร่ง... ไม่ได้เรื่อง ลบด่วน... บอกตรงๆ บางทีผมก็ งง กะไอ้เครื่องมือตัวนี้เหมือนกัน ไม่รู้ว่ามันจะเอาไง ^__^

+ กด Auto Levels ทีเดียวเป็นงี้เลยครับ ฮ่าๆ จากที่ภาพอมแดง ก็ทำให้สีถูกต้องมากขึ้น เซฟเลยดีมั๊ย ยังครับๆ ฮ่าๆ หลังจากนั้น ผมก็เพิ่ม Saturation นิดหน่อย และเลื่อนแถบ Warmth ไปทางสีน้ำเงินนิดหน่อยแค่นั้นเองครับ ตามภาพด้านล่างนี่เลย ^_^

+ จะเห็นว่าภาพไปทางโทนเย็น (ติดน้ำเงิน) มากขึ้นแล้วครับ ผมดูจากตาผมเองคิดว่าสีตรงแล้วแหละ ได้สีแบบที่ผมต้องการประมาณนึงแล้ว แต่อยากให้สีสดมากกว่านี้อีกนิดนึง ผมก็กด Color Boost เพื่อเพิ่มสีให้สดไปอีกนิดนึงครับ

+ ได้สีสดๆ แบบที่ผมต้องการแล้ว เรายังจะต้องไปทำอะไรต่ออีก ลองดูๆ ไปเรื่อยๆ ไปทำอย่างอื่นบ้าง เว้นช่วงบ้างครับ เวลาโพรเสสภาพอย่าไปรีบ ต้องดองครับ !!! เฮ้ยไม่ใช่ครับ จริงๆ แค่อยากให้ใช้เวลาดูรูปที่เราโพรเสสไป ว่าโอเคพอแล้ว ไม่ใช่แบบว่าทำไปซักพักนึง แล้วทำอะไรอย่างอื่นมา พอกับมาดูอีกที อืม... นี่กูโพรเสสอะไรว่ะเนี่ย เอาล่ะบ่นพอและ ^ ^ ผมก็เลยมองอยู่พักนึง ผมก็เห็นแล้วว่า อืม... คอนทราสมันยังต่ำไปนิดนึงนะรูปนี้ ผมก็เลยเลือกปรับ Curve ที่ผมใช้บ่อยๆ แล้วก็มั่วไป มั่วมา จนได้แบบภาพที่ต้องการแบบนี้ครับ

+ พอเห็นความแตกต่างมั๊ยอ่ะครับ กับ 2 ภาพล่าสุด (Color Boost กับ Curve RGB) งั้นลองมาดูกันชัดๆ ว่าแต่ละแชนแนลสีที่ผมปรับมั่วไป มั่วมา ดูนะครับ ฮ่าๆ

+ Roughly looking, it seems that this photo looks red -_-" let's observe with histogram

+ What does histogram really tell us? Usually when I take a photo (landscape), I always look at histogram. Does it look dark or bright? How much the highlight and shadow it has? It's very important for photograph.
But!!! You need to understand with your current camera that how much dynamic your camera has. (I easily call it how much your camera could collect the file haha). Each cameara is different. You can learn more about this on the following video.

+ From the photo in the histogram, it looks dark (the peak of the graph is mostly present on the left side). Most of red color highlight. On the other hand, the other two color little highlight. Let's emphasize on the histogram of the red color to see a big picture ^^.

+ This two pictures tell us which part and what color of photo that highlight and shadow. It is convient for us before doing the process.
+ To sum up, the histogram of this photo tell us that it is in dark tone (the graph is present on the left side-twilight). It is slightly red and yellow. The yellow is mostly highlight. (red + green = yellow) The red is looked shadow. (must process)

+ Randomly end with the histogram (I will tell you later on ^^) After histogram, it's time for precessing. By choosing on Auto Levels, it is the first tool that I choose rather than Curve. It is annoying tool. If there are the photo that it impress, it will give those photo look good by doing nothing much.
Just one click, it changes. The outcome of the photo is modified in the good way. It looks good. But if that photo is disliked, just one click you will see that... It looks bad. Delete it immediately... Speaking honestly, sometime I still confuse with this tool. What it really want from me? ^__^

Auto Levels
+ Click on Auto Levels one time, it look like this. Haha From the photo that look red, it was changed in the right way. Ok and Save? No No not yet! haha After that I add small saturation and slide the Warmth tab slightly to the blue path. That is the photo in the below ^_^

+ It seem that the photo is more and more change into cool tone (blue). I look from my own eyes and thought that it is a right color. Now I got my favourite tone of color, but I still want the brighter one. Therefore I click on Color Boost for adding the brightness.

+ Finally I got my desired brightness. What is the next thing we need to do? look around and see what is the other thing you can do. Take a break for awhile. When you process a photo, no need to hurry. keep it !!! Hey not, the truth is I want you to spend more time on the photo that processed. Is it ok? Not as when you process for awhile and follow with the next thing you do, later on you back to see "Umm... what the hell I processed? Ok, that enough for grumbling ^^. That why I looked at the photo for awhile, and I saw that "Umm... the contrast is a little bit low. Then I decide to adjust the Curve that I often use. After trial and error, I got my desired photo.

+ Can you see the difference between this two pictures (Color Boost and Curve RGB). Now try to see clearly on each color channel that I adjusted by trial and error. haha
